La Baie Verte Rowing Club, Inc. (Green Bay Rowing Club)

Only club members and persons attending club organized classes who have paid all club fees/dues will be allowed to row in club boats.  Members of other rowing clubs or those with rowing experience who have a basic membership with USRA can row as guests on a limited basis.  All participants must have a signed waiver on file.

Annual club membership dues:            $200.00
LBVRC members also need to obtain a Basic Membership with the United States Rowing Association (USRA).  Consult USRA for more details or visit

For competitive rowing: Dues do not cover the cost of regatta entry fees, boat transport (gas/trailer fees), boat rental fees, uniforms, travel expenses, and other related expenses.

If you are new to the sport of rowing you are encouraged to go through the Learn to Row program prior to joining the club.

Coxswains welcome!
The rowing club is also looking for individuals who would like to join the club as full time coxswains.  Coxswains are members of the crew that steer the boats and provide commands, feedback, and direction to the rowers.   Approved candidates will receive training, instruction, and hands-on experience; free membership to the club which includes the use of the rowing machines during winter workouts; and the opportunity to participate in and join the rowing community in an active role.
